What it means for picking numbers

A balanced ticket, like 3 odd and 2 even, isn’t more likely to win. Those mixes are common only because so many more combinations look that way. Any single set of five numbers has exactly the same odds.

How we counted: 1,429 Powerball drawings since Oct. 7, 2015, through Nov. 4, 2026. Only drawings under the current number range are included. This list is updated after every drawing. Past results don’t change the odds: every number has the same chance in every drawing.
