Frequently asked questions
How far back does the Powerball results history go?
Our archive has every Powerball drawing since Nov. 8, 2006: 2,359 drawings over 21 years, with a page for each year.
Why do older years use different numbers?
Powerball has changed its number ranges 3 times since 2006, so old drawings include numbers that no longer exist (or lack ones that do). The timeline above lists each change.
Can I check an old ticket here?
Yes. Open the year, then the month, to find your drawing date. Each state lottery sets its own deadline for claiming prizes, often between 90 days and one year, so check with the lottery where you bought the ticket.
Are these results official?
Every drawing is checked against official sources, but the official lottery results always take priority.
Must be 18 or older to play (older in some states). If gambling has stopped being fun, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER. Results are checked against official sources, but the official lottery’s results always govern.
