Powerball tickets go on sale in the United Kingdom today, July 21, 2026. UK players can enter starting with the Wednesday, July 22 drawing. It’s the first time the game has been sold outside the United States and its territories.
What changes for U.S. players
Very little. The ticket price, odds, prize amounts and draw schedule stay the same: drawings are Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET, and the jackpot odds remain 1 in 292.2 million.
UK tickets feed the same jackpot pool, with each UK play adding the same fixed U.S. dollar amount as a U.S. play. UK players have their own lower-tier prizes, which UK tickets fund separately.
Faster-growing jackpots
With the UK National Lottery on board, 49 lotteries now pool money for the jackpot. “More players means faster-growing jackpots, more excitement and even greater impact for the communities we serve,” said Rebecca Paul, president and CEO of the Tennessee Lottery.
Allwyn runs the UK National Lottery. Its CEO, Andria Vidler, said UK players would be “crossing our fingers for our first UK winner.”
